AUSTRALIA VISAS

As a New Zealand citizen, you generally do not require a visa to enter Australia. However, if you have previously been refused entry, have a criminal conviction, or have been deported, you will need to apply for a visa. All other passport holders may need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) or a visa prior to departure.

We offer assistance with the following visa types:

  • eVisitor (Subclass 651): For short stays for tourism or business.

  • Visitor/Business Visa (Subclass 600): For visits to Australia for tourism or business purposes.

  • Visitor/Business Visa (Subclass 600) Refusal Case: Assistance with cases where a Visitor/Business visa has been refused.

  • Transit Visa (Subclass 771): For passing through Australia to a final destination.

  • ETA (Subclass 601): For short-term visits for tourism or business, available to eligible passport holders.

  • Student Visa (Subclass 500): For studying full-time in Australia.

  • Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 462 and 417): For young people wanting to holiday and work in Australia.

  • Work Permit Category: For various work-related visas.

  • New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship Visa (Subclass 461): For family members of New Zealand citizens living in Australia.

SCHENGEN VISA

When traveling to the Schengen Area, foreign citizens typically need to apply for a Schengen short-stay visa, which allows for travel throughout the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, with multiple entries and exits.

However, New Zealand citizens are exempt from this visa requirement and do not need a visa for short stays of less than 90 days within a 180-day period. To benefit from this waiver, New Zealand citizens must:

  • Not Intend to Work: The visit must be for tourism, business, or other non-working purposes.

  • Hold a Valid Passport: The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of return.

  • Have a Return Ticket: Proof of onward travel is required.

Supporting Documents: While a visa is not required, border officials in Schengen countries may request additional documentation, such as an invitation letter, proof of accommodation, and a return or round-trip ticket.

Visa Requirement for Other Passport Holders: All other passport holders must apply for a Schengen visa prior to entering the Schengen region.

We Offer Assistance with Schengen Visas for the Following Countries:

  • Austria

  • Denmark

  • Iceland

  • France

  • Germany

  • Italy

  • Netherlands

  • Norway

  • Spain

  • Switzerland

  • Republic of Ireland

We also provide specialized support if your Schengen visa application has been recently refused.

Note: Schengen visa applications require in-person submission and biometric data collection, typically conducted in Auckland or Wellington.
